Executives and employees of Bangkok Glass FC, Bangkok Glass VC and Bangkok Glass Group on Saturday held the Kathina-robe offering ceremony at Wat Khian Khet in Pathum Thani.
On Saturday, Nov 5 - Bangkok Glass Group offered Kathina robes bestowed by His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej to monks at Wat Kian Ket. The ritual began with the chairman of the ceremony delivering a speech before offering the robes to the abbot of the temple.
Aside from executives of Bangkok Glass Group, players of Bangkok Glass FC and Bangkok Glass VC and the company’s personnel, civil servants and people in the neighbourhood also attended the ceremony.
The total amount of donation was Bt2,599,999.
Mr. Supasin Leeralit, vice chairman of Bangkok Glass FC and Bangkok Glass VC said, “It was an auspicious day. It was a holy day for Bangkok Glass because we offered prestigious robes to monks. Everyone looks really happy today.
Bangkok Glass VC’s captain Pleumjit Tinkaow said, “I am delighted to join the ritual and see many others present. I’m delighted to make merit. I am also full because there was a lot of food.”
Bangkok Glass FC’s veteran left-back Suphachai Komsilp said, “The ceremony was an auspicious moment for Bangkok Company and Bangkok Glass FC to make merit together. I am delighted to attend the ritual. I wish the merit we made today will help drive the club to success in the next season and in the future.
